About Us
We are a partnership of two translators. Sara is Portuguese, Paul English. If you want reliability and accuracy please contact us.

Why are we called Blue Morpho? Firstly a blue morpho is a lovely butterfly that we have both seen when travelling in South America. Secondly, as a caterpillar "morphs" into a butterfly, our work is to morph one language into another.

Gabi Soares
Partner
Gabi has a degree in Literature and Modern Languages. She has established herself in events as a press officer and in freelance translation. As well as being a brilliant linguist, she is the organisational brains behind Blue Morpho.

Gabi tem formação em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas. Estabeleceu-se como assessora de imprensa e como tradutora freelance. Além de uma linguista brilhante, é a responsável pela organização da Blue Morpho.

Paul Vickers
Partner
Paul has a number of qualifications: BA, MA, PGCE (Cambridge, Hull, Manchester). and has been a freelance translator (French, Portuguese, Spanish, English) since 1996. He has also worked extensively in Higher and Further Education as a teacher of French and English at Manchester University and colleges in Greater Manchester. In Lisbon, in addition to translation projects, he has taught English at: SL Benfica, BNP Paribas, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Lisbon Police Academy and Bayer, to name just a few.

Paul tem diversas qualificações académicas, tais como: BA, MA, PGCE (Cambridge, Hull, Manchester). É tradutor freelance (francês, português, espanhol, inglês) desde 1996. Também trabalhou como professor de francês e inglês na Universidade de Manchester e em colégios da região. Em Lisboa, além de ter desenvolvido trabalhos de tradução, leccionou inglês nas seguintes instituições /empresas: SL Benfica, BNP Paribas, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Bayer, Instituto Superior de Ciências Policiais e Segurança Interna, entre outras.
